Cup Series

State Cup
This event focuses on those teams seeking to play in the highest level of state competition and the potential to advance onto the regional and national stages of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.

The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is the country's most prestigious national youth soccer competition, as teams earn their way from the top teams in their state to regional and national levels.  The National Championship Series provides players the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.

Presidents Cup
This event is focused on those teams seeking to play in the 2nd highest level of state competition and the potential to advance to the regional and national stages of the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup.

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels.  The President Cup provides teams with a progressive competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.

Club Cup Points
The Ohio North Club Cup was established in 2008 to highlight club depth in the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series State Cup.  The boys and girls club that accumulated the most group play points in the 13U-19U divisions was declared the Top Club for the year.

In 2018, the Club Cup scoring system was adjusted to reward teams that advanced out of group play, with the quarter-finalist (+2), semi-finalist (+3), finalist (+4) and champion (+5) earning additional performance points.

The addition of the Presidents Cup to the Ohio North soccer landscape provides a new opportunity to measure club depth. In 2019, the Club Cup will reflect the TOTAL POINTS earned by a club across both Presidents Cup and State Cup, with State Cup points continuing to be weighted as noted above.
