Ohio North Youth Soccer, formed in 1974, is a not for profit member of the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and US Youth Soccer, and is officially recognized as the sanctioned youth soccer organization for northern Ohio. Ohio North has a current membership base of over 45,000 youth players, 6,000 active coaches, 2,300 referees and thousands of volunteers through its network of over 75 affiliate and associate recreational and competitive level member leagues and clubs.
Ohio North offers exemplary member support services, comprehensive coaching education and provides locally and nationally recognized programs and tournaments for all players, from young athletes with disabilities to elite development for top players. Our State Cup Tournament is the first level of competition into the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, which is the country’s most prestigious youth soccer tournament and the competitive Sam Bothwell Presidents Cup Tournament serves as a qualifier for the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Series.

Ohio North shares the US Youth Soccer mission to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of the youth soccer player at all levels of ages, abilities and competition while performing in a safe and fun environment. Ohio North currently has a professional and knowledgeable staff of five employees working out of the State Association Office located in Brecksville, Ohio.
